As with all opals, they really need to be seen to be believed and even then, there's something about them still doesn't seem real. This is an Ethiopian opal which means it is the most fiery, lively and colourful of the opals but with that, she is requires a little extra care. See below. The stone is smooth and dreamy, the pattern looks like an abstract painting but it mutates and the colours change as you move. Held in an 18ct yellow gold frame the magical beauty is held by strong 9ct gold claws. A selection of stones nestle between the claws creating a real asymmetry to the ring.
