Tessa Metcalfe

I fell in love with this stone as soon as I saw her. It's a mirror cut which means it has only a few very large flat reflective facets that hide nothing. The contrast between the long clean planes of aquamarine and the organic asymmetric textural claws is what strikes such an alluring balance. The large stone sits in a gold frame set at either end with a pink sapphire baguette. I love the relationship between the colour of the aquamarine and the hot pale pink sapphires. A ruby heart perches herself on the scaffolding at the back.
